If more people had the balls to do what this hero did, maybe the idiots who are ruining our country would listen.

INTENSE: Restaurant Owner BLOCKADES Health Inspector's Car in Protest
Who doesn't love a bit of in-your-face civil disobedience?
If it's good enough for BLM, it's good enough for these people who are losing their livelihoods over local mismanagement of the pandemic and certain draconian lock down measures.
My how the definition of hero has gone to hell in a handbasket. Who knew it would be debased to apply to petulant little children?
I have no problem with what the guy did. The issue with the video is that there is no context and the OP provided none. You had to get about 4 minutes in to see what the basis of his protest was.
The health inspector came in and fined the business owner because people were sitting on public property (benches) eating. Because the benches were in front of the restaurant the business owner was responsible for shooing the people away and since he didn't, he was fined.
The business owner asked the police supervisor what "the law" says about that and he deferred to the health inspector. At the end of the day if the code stipulates "x number of people allowed" then the restauranteur can only be responsible for what happens within his/her own walls. And this is the problem in this covid time writing orders as opposed to laws.

Humans have a natural survival instinct. I suspect your attitude would change if your business was going down the drain due to silly and useless rules implemented by governors.
When you stop smacking your head check out Governor Newsom and his "petulant little child" attitude.
People are morally obligated to disobey unjust laws but most of us don't have the balls to do it. In fact, that's how our country was founded.
Yeah, well, there were no "unjust" laws involved, so what's your point?
