Covid goes way down in Biden's first 6 months from a combination of vaccines and herd immunity and the media gives Biden all the credit. Crime still goes way up in the cities and the recession goes on and Trump's legacy gets all the blame. Newsom's recall is successful and is replaced by a now unknown Libertarian who is Democrat in name and most of the restrictions in California are lifted but the state continues to decline as businesses leave. L.A and the SF Bay Area decline but that's nothing compared to what happens to NYC. The once great NYC is still a no-go zone similar to what it was in the 1980s and becomes the next Detroit. The new meccas of the U.S. in 2021 will be Texas, Idaho, and Utah.

Unlike 2017, I bet no congressman will be shot at baseball practice.

Nah, we've been living in our personal FEMA camps since 1791 when King George Washington was on his way to western PA to slaughter farmers who wouldn't pay tribute to bail out the King's war debt. There's no need to physically remove us. We're still the happiest slaves that have ever existed and as long as the donuts are stocked at Walmart we won't complain too much. We can stay on our rented property. You don't think you actually own property, do ya? We don't even own our bodies and souls. They're on loan to us from the State.

There were plenty of Republicans in on it too but I get your point.

A Biden Boom rivaling the Roaring Twenties after the 1918 Pandemic. It will be delayed a bit because of the Trump administration bungling of the vaccine distribution, but things should be hop, hop, hopping by fall.
