Pairing it with a repeal of section 230 Social Media shield, is ingenious. GOP Senators will overwhelmingly approve it, so Senate Dems are now going to be the ones who kill the $2k stimulus checks.

I believe the House has already adjourned sine die so any change to the House passed bill is simply an obvious effort by Mitch to kill the $2000 checks, the OP is delusional if he thinks Mitch can pin that effort on Dems.
It will be still here and justs differently. Firstly, people can complain to the webmaster about a post, and they will need to delete the post in a reasonable time. Secondly, any post exited beyone certain time will assume reflect the website owners' point of view.
Like I said, repealing Section 230 will cause City Data forum to all but disappear.
It's stupid. Folks don't give a !@#$ about Section 230 -- they just want a check......no games.
That's not true. Millions of Americans don't like that Facebook censored speech and may have changed the election results. (About 17% of Biden voters said they would NOT have voted for the crook if they had heard of the Hunter Biden story.) These hi-tech social media giants are just another arm of the liberal party, and they should not be protected from lawsuits.
Repealing 230 will cause all social media and comment sections to essentially dissappear. Even City Data and Fox News comment sections. Be careful playing with fire and with what you wish for Conservatives.
If we get rid of section 230 how will right wingers post fake news and racist rants?
