Republicans in Senate - we want less government intervention, spending and less pork in bills.

Also Republicans in Senate:

1. We want government to intervene in privately owned social media sites (such as City Data) by repealing 230.

2. We just voted to give ourselves bonuses at the tax payers expense.

3. We just added pork to a stand alone bill that would directly get help to struggling Americans with items so outlandish that the opposing party will never sign off on it to make it look like it was their fault.

Obviously your question has absolutely nothing to do with what Rachel has exposed. You are in search of the fifth leg of the cat. Do not extrapolate the point.

If McConnell wanted the people in need to get $2000, wouldn't he have passed a clean bill with only that?

It's a shame that McConnell didn't vote to pass the $2000 bill and blocked people in need from getting it.

Have people lost the ability and intelligence to analyze and think critically about all that they read on internet?

I thought conservatives are about personal responsibility. Now you all want the government to do your thinking for you?

Yes he is one crafty senator, this is McConnell filibustering his own bill back in 2012, the look on Claire McCaskill's face is priceless.

Just goes to show you how Congress NEVER has the interest of Americans first. I despised that Pelosi played politics and sent a pork laden bill that prevented Americans receiving a check early in the year and only looked out for her special interest group and everyone else but Americans. Just like Pelosi adding all the pork and crap, McConnell should of just passed the standalone bill WITHOUT attaching anything else on it. Both parties DON'T have American's interest first and failed to do their jobs. At one point in history, Congress received minimal pay. We need to go back to that since they don't do anything for people who they were supposedly elected to represent.

Repealing 230 will allow you fewer chances to express yourself online, not more.

Disappointed in both sides. The best option is the $2,000 checks and nothing else.
