'Playing with fire': GOP Sen. Ben Sasse tears into Republicans planning to object to Electoral College results

Nope. Democrats played with fire when they started using corrupt voting machines and counting machines in a national election. And when they started changing the rules via the courts instead of the state legislatures. And when they started violating the rules during and after the election.

NOW they're worried that people are getting burned?

They should have thought of that before they started playing with fire in the first place.

Now it's left to Republicans to try to restore the election to what the legislatures said it should be, and what the people legally voted. Instead of the corrupted results the Democrats are trying to achieve despite the people's votes.

I just want it to be over. This is awful.
That's just how the Democrats want you to feel. Shut down the investigations, stop going to court, just accept the results of their lawbreaking and corrupt voting machines.

Don't worry, be happy.

Playing with fire? God, whatever. The house is already a five alarm.

That would be 100% justified.

Yeah...their half! That is how it always goes, they burn down their own inner cities & urban areas who can least afford the destruction, store, & job losses, but the Libs don't care about them.

The closer we get too the 20th the more desperate they will become. This only the tip of iceberg. I find joy in watching them flounder like a fish out of water.

I don't remember him flapping his Sasse-hole about the Democrats calling on the electoral college to select Hillary or when Democrat members of Congress repeatedly objected during the electoral vote tally in 2017, so I'm not terribly moved by his new-found concern for "playing with fire."

*Yawn*

The GOP is merely following the Dem playbook (from 2016, 2004, and 2000) of trying to challenge the election in Congress. Howls of disgrace from leftists and their media lapdogs today fall on deaf ears with me if they were silent or otherwise applauded such behavior by Democrats in the past.

Yep. As I just wrote in a post, Democrat and media howls of outrage over Republicans following the Democrat playbook fall on dear ears with me. Something can't be wrong for you only when Donald Trump does it and you still expect to be taken seriously.

I'm in awe at some of these Republicans--from GWB to Sasse to McCain--finally deciding to have a voice
