I just don't get it. Trump treats the Democrats like mortal enemies. I don't think he's ever crossed the political aisle and appointed a Democrat to any office and blasts them even when he agrees with them. Did someone offend him to such a degree as to commit irreversible damage to their relationship? Or is it really all a reality television ploy that's all?
The Democrats have been out for Orange Blood since Trump came down the escalator. They have blocked everything he has attempted while their media has demonized him as some racist monster set on destroying America, while enriching his family and friends and then he would hand over the smoking ruins of America to Putin.
The Dems have divided this country like never before from not showing up at his inauguration to Pelosi ripping up his State of the Union speech. They have blamed Trump for every bad thing that has happened.
Trump dared to use the "cages" at the border detention camps that Obama built and they were outraged.
If Trump cured the covid the Dems would be screaming that he put thousands of researchers on the unemployment line.
If Trump said breathing was good for us we would have seen millions of liberals passed out on the streets.
In the past Trump was a friend to the Clintons and politicians on both sides of the aisle but once he poked his head into politics and dared to win the election we saw how quickly they all turned on him.
The Democrats and their mass media propaganda machine have waged an all out war on Trump, why would he be friends with them?
It is said to have begun when Obama poked fun at him at the Al Smith dinner. Whatever, Trump is incapable of taking the criticism that is part and parcel of partisan politics. It takes a relatively thick skin even when running for student body president in high school. For someone who lives and dies depending on approval of others, Trump is utterly unsuited for his job as president in a free speech society.
It's all show and playing to the base. He fancies himself as the Neo-Reagan and has similarly used his television experience to learn how to package and present himself as appealing to those most willing to engage in the rhetoric.

If you are going to talk about being thin skinned, then you must recognize the extremely thin skin of Trump's predecessor, B. Hussein Obama. Any criticism of Obama's misguided and failed policies was met with the same retort....racism. All who dared question the Obama administration were painted with the same racist brush for the entire eight years of his sad, failed presidency.
Trump has a grudge against ANYONE who doesn't agree with him, be it Republican or Democrat.
That's a mind of a fascist.
You mean Democrats have been so gracious with Republicans all these years?
Last I checked, it was Democrats bashing Trump 24/7 in the media, in Hollywood, in DC, in Democrat cities and States across the country. From women’s marches to burning effigies to baby balloons to pussyhats to boycotting his State of the Union and inauguration, and on and on.
