The reason why all of those indigenous cultures were defeated was because they and their cultures failed and was taken over by stronger cultures and societies.

Why do we need to hear from what failed?

Yes, England has a poor record, as does all of Europe, in recognizing the value of indigenous peoples in lands they colonized.

On the other hand, the US was certainly formed thinking that the indigenous cultures here were lesser. "Lesser" to the point that murdering them was acceptable, much like burning fields to prepare for planting. And we are SLOW to change those beliefs, just only recently allowing Native American tribes to police their own child welfare laws, and not taking their children away to indoctrinate them into our culture, "Kill the Indian, Save the Man" attitude.

We do not have a good track record for respecting the native peoples on our continent, and neither does England. It's refreshing to hear him say it.

The reason they failed is we had guns and they didn't. Also, we had smallpox.

When you have a culture that is hell bent on colonizing and "Manifest Destiny", and they but up against a culture that doesn't even understand private property laws, it's a done deal. The native peoples were living very successfully in New England when the Mayflower landed there, and appeared ready to peacefully coexist until the settlers started stealing their food supplies.

Here’s some news to you. Native Americans were murdering each other long before Europeans came. In fact, all indigenous people around the world were murdering each other. The only reason why they didn’t murder your ancestors was because they didn’t had the technology to. If they had, those indigenous people you hold so dearly would have came and slaughter you too.

And if they had invented guns, they would have then done the conquering themselves.

No human race is holy and perfect. You are only sympathetic to the losers because liberalism teaches you to.

Here's some news for you. Some tribes were warriors, some were not.

Some were peacemakers.

Can I recommend 4 nonfiction books for you - Killers of the Flower Moon, Women's Diaries of the Westward Journey, Mayflower Lives, and Empire of the Summer Moon.

One MORE ignorant thing we tend to do, is see all the Indigenous peoples that were on the North American continent as one single culture.
