The investigation by Cyrus Vance in Manhattan seems interesting, I don’t see anyone being locked up but there may be rather large fines. We are not going to lock up an ex-president just on tax evasion.
The same reason right wingers actually thought Hillary would be locked up...desire for something overwhelming objective logic.
I'm personally more than a little disturbed by politically motivated investigations like we're some 3rd world country.

Trump does business in NY for decades and decades, has IRS approved tax returns for decades and decades...gets into politics as an (R)? Oh time for, and I quote the NY DA here...."Wide ranging investigations into Trump, his family and business associates". Wide ranging unspecified goal....aka fishing expedition.

I felt a bit skeptical given the ex-President's supposed wealth, but then again we just watched Nicolas Sarkozy get sentenced to jail so that makes prison time seem a lot more plausible. I have to say it would set a good precedent for, yes... truth, justice, and the American way. There I said it.

I think this is an assumption. Does anyone know mr. Djt tax returns are real or fake? First filing or amended filing? Audited or unaudited? Verified or unverified?
ALL audited tax filings are fishing expeditions.
Mr djt's taxes are questionable simply because they are complex, disallowed deductions that his professional tax people would have and should have disallowed (2016 veterans donation, Trump Foundation closure).

Hard to believe this is a serious question, but what they will find in the GA case re Election Tampering is that he tried to convince the GA government officials to "Find" him 12k+ votes, tried to use his influence to steal the election. Graham was involved as well and both are being investigated.
Nothing will come out of this.
