Texas Republican Rep. Chip Roy has challenged the seating of the delegations from Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Nevada, essentially saying that if there was widespread fraud in those states -- as President Trump and his followers have claimed -- then so are the elections of those House delegations.

The move from Roy, who has previously spoken out against his fellow GOPers expected plan to challenge the certification of the electoral votes on Wednesday, is forcing a vote from the House on whether they think the House members should be sworn in, and putting the whole chamber on the record. The vote was nearly unanimous to proceed.

"It would confound basic human reason if the presidential results were to face objection while the congressional results of the same process escaped without public scrutiny," Roy said in a statement released shortly after his objection.

Good. Make them go on record saying that their own elections were fraudulent.

This is gettign simply exhausting. The amount of time and energy these Congress members are spending on pushing back in every partisan way possible is unconscionable. They have important work to do. If they can't focus on actual governmnet they need to make way for some who will focus on the job they were hired to do.

Make them vote that their own elections are fraudulent.
This is why Trump has lost all court cases.

They could care less about the inept rollout of the vaccine.

The reason those senators and representatives are continuing this farce is simple. Being a Trumpie in Congress guarantees them a lot of votes next time they're up for election. They could care less about the truth. They could care less if they look like idiots to the majority of the electorate. They could care less about democracy. They're "in power" and they want to protect that at any cost. They're scared to death that they might not get reelected next time (especially if Trump turns on them) and they might miss out on the glory of their current position. Those with aspirations to higher office are the worst of the bunch.

Hopefully, the voters will remember their names in 2022 and 2024....

So if there is wide spread voter fraud where Trump lost isn't there wide spread voter fraud down ballot and those congressman and senators should not be sworn in and contested as well?
You have to be 45 degrees below stupid to not see that this is nothing more than political theater.

Hey Trump voter, look at me. I'm supporting your crooked guy. Now donate to the Save America PAC. The RNC gets a piece of that action and I want some of that money to fuel my re-election.

Biden will be sworn in on January 20th.

Haven't you heard, Congress and the President have nothing to say about vaccine distribution, the Governors are in charge. They insisted they should be in charge. Don't like how it's coming along?
