He wasn't home. His wife and newborn baby were there.

Hawley Says ‘Antifa Scumbags’ Showed Up To His Front Door And Threatened His Wife, New Born Daughter

Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley said a group of Antifa members threatened, vandalized, and pounded on his door while his wife and newborn daughter were inside Monday night.

...
“Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel. They screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door. Let me be clear: My family & I will not be intimidated by leftwing violence,” Hawley said on Twitter.

Not sure why they are going about this if they won fair and square.

It would appear this is a reaction to radical Hawley's betrayal of the nation.

Betrayal... how so?

Biden won by 7 million votes, right? Who cares - what Hawley does... it will be fruitless... right? Anyone should have a right to resist.

The mob of less than a dozen people looked peaceful with their candle vigils? I did not see or hear anything threatening while flipping through the hour long video although I did not watch the whole thing in detail. Perhaps you can pinpoint exactly when that happened.
You do know protesting is legal in this country right.

Peaceful and bullhorns don't exactly mix.

I never claimed they did anything anything wrong. He did - as he received word from his wife. Truth is relative these days. She obviously felt threatened.

It is in poor taste - but that what's en vogue today.

I just though it was a waste of time since Biden clearly won. Why are they bothering?

I desperately wish to see a fed-up politician from either party appear on his/her porch in their bathrobe with a goddamn hand cannon the size of Texas and pop off a warning shot or two on these trespassers. I support sufficiently scaring these aholes enough to make them rethink the whole bum rushing on private property tactic. They need to learn some manners.

Peace and bullhorn absolutely mix. How else do get everyone to remain peaceful. It is what the police use to maintain a peaceful gathering. I see you have never seen a peaceful protest in action.
His claims seem to be at best a gross exaggeration and at worse out and out lies.

You just said it was a small crowd of a dozen people. You don't need a bullhorn to control that crowd. Quit being disingenuous. They were causing a disturbance.

You don't know if anything happened outside of the video.

Truth is relative these days. If the wife said there were threats - then there were threats. If Trump colluded with Russia, then he colluded with Russia - correct? That's how America works now.

Truth is not relative. What were the exact threats? To say we don’t like your voting record is not threat.
I have never ever never ever seen a peaceful protest without a leader with a bullhorn. Perhaps you can provide a link to one that worked well.
And a link to the so called threat would be helpful too.
The guy wants to become a star and is being dramatic with his tweets. Please let me know how I can reach any other conclusion.
