Pairing it with a repeal of section 230 Social Media shield, is ingenious. GOP Senators will overwhelmingly approve it, so Senate Dems are now going to be the ones who kill the $2k stimulus checks.

MM plays political chess with absolute precision.

All the House needs to do is add a favorite of their own to Mitch's dirty bill.

It's stupid. Folks don't give a !@#$ about Section 230 -- they just want a check......no games.

Shrewd tactic if your goal is to deny people who can't pay their rent or feed their families or keep their businesses going the help they need. Republicans suck!

I mean, if the goal is to not give out money but make it look like it is the fault of the Democrats, I don't know how shrewd it is to ignore the clean bill the House passed and then attach poison pills to the idea in the Senate. I was seeing 'poison pill' quite a bit all day and the term isn't going to go away by GA's election. Not that it'll matter anyway; I don't trust GA voters even after they surprised me last month.

I think it will backfire. The Dems have the momentum at this point.
