Four years ago was an eternity. After all we've been through, you honestly don't think the reaction would have been different this time around?

This right wing coup attempt makes Antifa's deeds look like petty misdemeanors by comparison.
I disagree. There was a kernel of "let's see what happens" in 2016.

A second term for this lunatic?

It would have been uglier that a just a few cars burned.

YES!

this seditious riot was fueled by the false belief that the election was fraudulent. this belief is the direct results of trump's bogus claims.

there is nothing to support the belief the same thing would have happened if biden had lost. this stupidity is on trump alone.

Here's an article that lays out evidence of advance planning:

Okay, I'll grant you large riots in the streets in multiple cities. But none of that rises to the level of an apparently planned in advance invasion and insurrection of Congress, in an attempt to thwart the transfer of power.

I think that if Trump had won the left would have believed that the election was fraudulent.

I certainly would have thought it to be fraudulent. Of course I would not have donned tactical gear and stormed the Capitol, but some of the most extreme elements of the left may have.

Perhaps not. We'll never know.

It isn't ordinary liberals who think elections are fraudulent.
