Actually I think getting no press, no attention, no ego stroking would be a bigger punishment for the narcissist in Chief than a impeachment trial. Let the little man slink off into unimportance other than in his own mind.
1) If Trump did ANYTHING with regards to Covid, he would've won the election, most likely by a decent amount.
2) If Trump kept his mouth shut after the results, and given his phone to Ivanka, he would've had a pretty good chance to rerun in 2024 and most likely have a good chance to win in 2024.
