Time for third parties more than ever. The unofficial two party has led to a system of either-or, with us or against us, agree or disagree. There is no middle ground. This one of the reasons for little compromise, concensus etc and why clean bills have trouble getting passed. Won't get true alternatives until actual alternatives available.

Waste of time..... just like voting in future elections, unless the voting system is majorly overhauled.

The swamp won, Trump is out, and you will probably not ever see a non-establishment figure get in again.

Always vote. Yes the swamp won, but they had to cheat to do it. If you don't vote they don't have to cheat to win. Make them cheat. Make them do the things that we can use against them later when the tide turns.

I've been voting Libertarian for over 10 years now in the hopes of getting a third party recognized.

No, I am not throwing away my vote by not voting D or R. Keep believing that propaganda hogwash and a third party will never get a foothold.

America needs to abandon the two party system. There should be 5 parties at the moment. A party for centrist, a party for economic progressives, a party for woke, a party for conservatives and a party for those who like right wing populism.

Think of the current parties (D&R) as two sides of the same dirty coin.

Three party system won't work. It is one of the great failures of our founding fathers, as much as they did a great job otherwise.

And this is only because of the Electoral College. It requires a majority of the Electoral Votes. Not a plurality. And given the power of that office, any third party would benefit by being consumed by a larger party in order to place someone of their ideology in that office. It would be hard for a three party system to result in a President chosen by the people as opposed to one chosen by the House.

I voted 3rd party for President for the first time in my life in 2020 after decades of voting for Democrats. Both major parties are drifting to extremes and I had no choice. I am very concerned for the country's future.

I will be doing the same. Started in 2020.
