I think this might finally convince a lot of people on the right though that cops using excessive deadly force on citizens is a reality though. The left should be denouncing this shooting, both the right and the left can get behind police reform.
I've only seen one leftist on this board denounce it. The rest are cheering it.

Where I differ is that you do not storm/breech/overtake a Federal building. You just don't. That's not protesting. It is very close to being an act of war. It can and should be handled differently. I don't advocate killing hundreds but far more force should have been used to stop them from getting to where they day. It is so different from being out in the streets and causing trouble.
You nailed it.

Looting disgusts me but the only saving grace is that most of the time the owners and employees of the store are at home, safe. Yes, they are victims because of loss of income but not potential loss of life.

Yesterday, those members of Congress were in fear of their lives. Doubtful any of the protesters who entered the building went through a security check. It only takes one nut job, one weapon and one motive to kill multiple. I don't think there was any intention to harm a person but those people, behind the door of the chamber, had no way of knowing that. All they heard was chaos and anarchy. THAT, my friends, is scarier than most Trump supporters care to imagine.

It's OUR building. A few broken windows does not warrant the excessive use of lethal force or labelling people as "terrorists" which is what the media did.

The BLM & Antifa protesters have done far worse, burning down entire city blocks, and yet the police have never shot them to my knowledge.
Right. In US we own the capital building. We all do. Citizens should be able to enter at any time. Antifa and BLM were burning and destroying private property. Big difference. The protestors yesterday did not burn anything but break a window which they should not have.

No.

Public property doesn't equate to publicly accessible property. (ie US military installations)

Publicly accessible property doesn't equate to public property. (ie a privately owned shopping mall).

3. why wasn't the Capital building better secured?..everyone knew this was coming..the Capitol police head honcho will probably have to go after this..

4. last and certainly not least, her blood is directly on Donald Trump's hands..period..
Its directly on Joe Biden and the MSM's hands for ignoring legitimate questions about electoral fraud.

Show me proof they intended to harm/kill senators and congressmen. Show me proof that they fired even a single shot in the capitol building.

You're just making **** up. Stop.

There are mixed reports on whether she was shot when her head was through the window or whether it was when she was standing behind the door.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes, yes. But it was clearly an excessive use of force. A baton would have been more appropriate. It could be manslaughter. It could also be reckless use of force as the shot could have killed even police officers on the other side of the door (see the 3rd officer in the Breonna Taylor shooting who fired shots into a neighboring apartment). Whoever fired the shot should not be a police officer.
How could there be mixed reports? Video clearly shows her climbing up into the window frame. She was shot as she bent forward to work her way over the furniture to get down. LE had started to clear the vestibule. They were now down a couple of steps. The now departing protestors blocked their view of the door. They probably never saw Ashli climb into the frame - it happened fast. All the shooting officer who was some distance back in the hall would be able to see was a breach.

It's highly unlikely there was real time communication between LE in the vestibule and those defending the hallway.

depending on what they're charged with, all of those traitors found inside the Capitol could be lined up against a wall and shot.
