They did respect the rights of the protesters. But, once they broke into the Capitol, they became rioters. I feel the same way about every protest/riot. Peacefully march and protest and you should be protected. Loot and riot and you should be prosecuted.

Yesterday, some protested and some rioted. They should be dealt with in different ways.

No, we are not China.

Respect the right of the people in the halls of congress. They are not reserved exclusively for lobbyists and powerful politicians.

Sorry.

Sorry.
The people do not have the right to smash windows, and go through the desks of congress members.

Protesting is one thing, rioting is another.

Sorry.
The people should be allowed and even encouraged to break windows and carry weapons into the halls of Congress? If they had entered correctly and peacefully they would have been treated differently.

BTW - If we were China, they would have been gunned ala Tiananmen Square.

A couple of windows got smashed, not a big deal.
No reason to shoot an unarmed woman in the face.

It was one window, and few papers flew around. Otherwise the building was untouched.

This is what you get when congress only serves lobbyists and banishes normal folk from the seats of power.

Tell Pelosi and McConnel that next time you vote for them.

Did you say the same when BLM rioters broke windows?

Protesting is one thing, destruction of property is another.

This is satire, right?

The guy who has killed untold numbers of people in his own country?
That’s the guy we should be taking advice from?

“Unlike his former counterparts in Tunisia and Egypt, he gave orders to crush the dissent, rather than tolerate it, after protests against him and his government began in 2011.
The brutal crackdown by the security forces did not, however, stop the protests and eventually triggered an armed conflict that activists say has left more than 380,000 people dead, displaced 11 million others, destroyed cities and drawn in other countries.”

Y’all really do love yourselves some dictators.

Did it really take eight posts for someone to figure this out?
