That's the biggest single problem we face now. How can we have faith that the next major election won't be cheated on, falsified, etc.? How can we convince the people that their vote, once again, WILL count as it should?

Don't elect a lying con man narcissistic slug like Trump, who says he can only lose if "they cheat", then you won't have this happen.

Secondly, stupid people should stop being stupid and believing lies from people like Trump and Rudy. I won't hold my breath.

As we have yet to see any valid evidence in the 50+ legal cases that were brought up on election fraud its time to get over it. If states have concerns over their voting procedures they can start working on them this year, now is the time to challenge voting rolls if needed and it probably wouldn't hurt to evaluate election site coverage where problems were noted.

That's how its done constructively with 10 months till the November election and years till the next Presidential one. Not some after the fact, we were robbed, they cheated I know so s**t show lead by a spoiled brat who can't accept he lost.

This was a fair election. No election in our history was more closely examined and no evidence of significant fraud proven (far different from alleged). But it is the electoral system that is the weak link. It only takes a relative handful of votes in swing states to change the outcome. On the other hand, it is much harder to manipulate the result taken nationwide, where like this time with a difference of millions of votes spread all over the nation. Not only that, if current demographic trends continue with the sunbelt turning blue it will be impossible for conservatives to win a presidential election that they might win in a close division of the popular vote in those states.

Not a bad speech. He pointed out that we must continue to find peace and work together, despite the disappointment of most normal people.

So, will we go on holding election as we did this one? With the huge number of ways it would be easy to commit fraud, switch ballots, lost votes, etc.?

Regardless of whether you feel there was fraud in Nov. 2020, it is plain that with present election procedures fraud and theft COULD happen. We must try as hard as possible to eleiminate the possibility of fraud, so as to restore people's faith that not only did no fraud happen, but couldn't have happened.

If this latest election showed us anything, it showed us that there are hundreds of vulnerabilities where people of ill intent could certainly have injected fraud with relative ease. Such vulnerability must be reduced or eliminated wherever possible, so that normal Americans can rest assured that theft and fraud of elections is extremely difficult, rather than laughably easy as the Nov. 2020 election showed us.

* Will we continue to use computerized machines connected to the internet, where high school level kids can hack into them?

* Will we still allow weeks and even months to vote, giving fraud purveyors all the time they need to ply their skills?

* Will we continue to accept ballots far beyond election day, enabling "ballot harvesting" and other attempts to gauge how many additional votes they need to win, and go around collecting from people likely to favor their candidates while not collecting from those who don't, many days after election days?

* Will we settle for a "paper ballots" printed out and marked by a machine (still connected to the internet), and simply assume it accurately reflects what the voter actually marked on the screen? Or will the final standard of voting finally become the paper ballot marked by the voter and presented in person on Election Day? It takes a little more manpower, but has the benefit of being a LOT harder for someone to fake, or replace, or change.

*Will we still permit "mail-in ballots" uncontrolled by any chain of command, sent from any random location, by person(s) of unknown identity, stored in uncontrolled locations ranging from Post Offices to storage rooms to open delivery trucks left unguarded during the postman's lunch break or bathroom breaks?

* Should we continue to receive ballots with no chance of identifying who is turning it in? Or require that each voter have a (free, easy to obtain) govt-issued ID? Even such procedures would not be 100% perfect... but would be vastly better than what we've seen recently.

* At the same time, should we keep limited facilities for people who physically can't get to the pols on election day? Infirm people in hospitals or at home? Military Americans overseas or other far-flung areas? People on business trips they could not avoid?

What voting procedures and opportunities should we change for the next major election? And which should we keep?
Conceded? I missed that - when was that? Do you have a link?

If Trump believes there was cheating and is conceding -- shame on him (I think he knows there is no cheating -- Graham said he asked to see the evidence -- and nothing).

If Trump lied to you about the fraud to further his political career -- shame on him.

There was no cheating -- that's not what he said tonight and that's not what the folks objecting to the electoral college -- in swing states only ---- claimed.

They have dropped that whole fake vote claims.

Your candidate just has to get the most votes and then you will be confident that the election has integrity --
