I've been seeing on Twitter that a lot of Trump's hardcore, most violent base is confused by his statements and making up conspiracy theories that Trump is calling for calm now...before a storm that is planned.
It's hilarious to watch these people spin themselves into a web of confusion and uncertainty.
Liberals are starting to become far too predictable.
It only took him 24 hours, resignations of several staffers and cabinet members, and threats of removal from office to get him to make a statement that was not "go home" "we love you, you're very special"
wow, he referenced the pandemic without calling it the china virus. his previous speech writer must've resigned
if only had said these words immediately after the election, instead of going on a witch hunt, he might have come off as someone with a sliver of integrity. that's how low the bar is set for trump.
He’s the most successful con man in world history. I can’t believe how these folks buy into his garbage.
I voted for him in 2016, but in reality it was a vote against hillary, not thinking trump was going to be as bad as he was.
2020, in a similar fashion, I voted for biden as a vote against trump.
President Trump leaves office in a few weeks and people still have TDS instead of expressing glee and delight over the new president.
The next 4 years are going to be rather interesting.

most here aren't as thrilled about biden being president, as they are about trump leaving office. we had a choice between two horrible candidates and most picked the lesser of the 2 evils.

Yes, it is a kind of high entertainment to watch this happening...if only it weren't for the chaos and consequences that have happened.
Please provide proof with a link of Trump's own words that asked or encouraged his followers to become violent. I'll wait!
He never encouraged violence. The media is writing the narrative on all of this. The plotters were very smart.
The media drove the rona panic. The media drove the Floyd chaos this summer, the media has created trumps negative image (although he has not helped himself either). the media has convinced Americans and the republican elite that there is no voter fraud and now they have successfully cultivated the belief that Trump orchestrated the destruction of property at the capital.
The truth is the left is responsible for all the disorder we are. They have polarized Americans with their radical socialist beliefs, they are the ones who orchestrated a massive election fraud, they are the ones who are traitors. What happened at the capital is angry citizens tried unsuccessfully to refuse the plotters the right to install a radical government. Some of them acted inappropriately but what they did pales in comparison to the mass destruction inflicted by leftists this summer. It is also worth noting that conservatives did focus their ire towards the government process which they believe to be corrupt and fraudulent while the leftists of the summer attacked innocent people and businesses that had nothing to do with their cause.
The media will continue to show us a million pictures of the shirtless guy with horns as that is the image they have attached to us. The countless thousands of good educated Americans in that crowd that were orderly yet righteously demanding of justice will not be heard or seen. It will all be toothless inbred morons that are shown as if that is all that was there. The media is the true enemy, they are a powerful ally of the socialists. We need to deal with them first.
What can be done? First we conservatives should create a conservative media corporation. Each of us could invest in the corporation and begin to buy media and entertainment outlets. Let’s put our money to work and buy these media outlets and take them over. Secondly we need to vote hard line politicians into our state houses. States have the power to check the federal government. They can nullify their laws, they can secede and at an extreme they can organize a force against the federal tyrants as was done in 1861. These kinds of things are coming and we need to be preparing. Our government in Washington is under the control of leftists. We need to resist socialism in America and make sure it is never implemented.
