John Danforth said supporting Hawley was “the worst mistake I ever made in my life”.

Danforth (former MO Senator) is the most influential and respected member of the Missouri Republican Party. Hawley is toast and I bet he feels the same way about the mistake he made the other night.

It's the standard MAGA argument. If you don't agree with their thinking you're "left".

It is what it is.

The true moral of the story is "words have consequences". MAGA, again plays the victim.

S&S is not owned by CBS.

The reporting in the OP’s link is sloppy.

They are currently owned by ViacomCBS. They have been sold to Penguin but the deal is not closed yet.

P.S. Most of those 74 million don’t read. Maybe Hawley “wrote” it for people with a 6th grade reading level. Don’t care.
