Secret Service agents rushed President Donald Trump to a White House bunker on Friday night as hundreds of protesters gathered outside the executive mansion, some of them throwing rocks and tugging at police barricades.

If security had not been strong the rioters would have stormed the White House.

Trump traveled to Florida on Saturday to view the first manned space launch from the U.S. in nearly a decade. He returned to a White House under virtual siege, with protesters — some violent — gathered just a few hundred yards away through much of the night.

In fact they made jokes about it...."bunker boy." Remember?

A violent mob was attacking the perimeter of the residence of our president such that the secret service had to rush him to a secure location......AND NO ONE WAS APPALLED....they made jokes.

The mob was the sympathetic figure! It wasn't an unconscionable attack on our institutions. It was a source of glee and sympthy!

Remember in 2018 when the Senate building was "occupied" during the attack on Brett Kavanaugh?

More sympathy.

You liberals really are something in your double standard and selective outrage.

Good post OP. The hypocrisy is crazy but by now it is certainly expected.

"Bunker boy" as if Trump had a choice. The SS saw a threat and moved him to a secure location. That is their job and they take it very seriously. They would have also taken it very seriously if some of those idiots actually stormed the WH. They would have been met with deadly force and of course Trump would get the blame.

The mob is always seen as a sympathetic body when they are protesting for the "right" reasons like social justice, of black against white. How many lost their lives and livelihoods when their neighborhood was trashed, looted and burned? How many billions of dollars did the rebuild cost the taxpayers for the Democrats "rally"? Those riots were applauded and encouraged by the Democrats.

If the Dems didn't have double standards they wouldn't have any standards at all.

Tell me, did the police open the barricades that time?

If not, why not?

We laugh at trump, rightly so, because he has to lie even about that. Why? trump made himself look like an even bigger idiot than he already is plus a spectacular liar. The end.
