Now that the Deomcritters have full control of the WH and Congress, will they do whatever they have to, in order to get very strict gun control (just picture the harshest stuff they can get all their members to vote for) passed, specifically to screw conservatives? Of course, they'd screw the conservatives anyway, but the sacking of the capital building both pissed them off, and they probably think it gives them extra justification.

As far as doing whatever they have to, they would include getting rid of the filibuster (at least for gun control bills) and packing the courts if the courts start overturning what they pass.

Don’t need to since Trump already pushed through legislation on the penalties for damaging Federal property. Hope the rioters enjoy their minimum 10 year “vacations”.

I thought none of the people who broke into the Capitol building on Wednesday, carried any guns?

Oh, I thought they decided guns were good, or they should as Bernie Sanders wanted the protesters shot. I would think they would realize that if with all the supposed security they had, and they were still compromised, that citizens need a way to protect themselves. Yeah, the left aren't really thinkers, and in order to push socialism/communism forward, they'll have to at least slowly remove our rights to include 2nd Amendment rights. A good youtube channel to watch what they are up to is: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5f...K97fLg7RTdZpJg

"Take the guns first. Go through due process second, I like taking the guns early.”

Wise words from Trump. He was no friend of the 2nd amendment either.

Seriously though, DC already has extremely restrictive gun laws, if anything this just displayed the fact that people will ignore the law.

Ok. Let's imagine all the harshest gun control suggestions. If you're someone who's legally allowed to be a gun owner, which controls prevent you from owning a gun?

And a number were arrested for violating DC's strict gun laws.

It was an Executive Order, not legislation. And it's probably not enforceable in any event.
