Tax cuts, environmental deregulation, military funding, etc.
If you mean he is not a neoconservative, that is debatable.
Neoconservative does not equal conservative.
Increased government spending, larger government, leveraged over states. Not to mention donations to democrats and donations to Pelosi in support of abortion rights. He's just too liberal for the republican party.
His supporters don't like to hear this because they don't like to be labeled liberal. There's no way to convince someone in denial.
Fortunately, there's plenty of conservatives left in the republican party to take it in the right direction. They've started by distancing themselves from Trump.
Trump will be impeached. Simple fact. Don't know if he will be convicted.
Republicans in the House and Senate strategically will be put in a hard place looking for votes come reelection balancing appeasing Trump's base by voting no and moderate conservatives who want him gone.
Pelosi has got Trump again after getting him on the $2,000 checks costing Republicans votes in the Georgia run offs.
Does Trump care about the party?
74 million people say that any Republican that votes to impeach Trump can kiss their political career goodbye.
If he resigns before he's impeached, Pence will take over and can pardon him, and republicans won't be forced by Pelosi to vote on impeachment, which is her main reason for this ploy.

What percentage of those voted for him just because he was the R candidate though? (I'm guessing about 60% of them, which means tops you have 29 million tRump bootlickers)

A good portion of voted for him because they didn't want Biden or because they are republican. Just like a good portion of people voted for Biden because they didn't want Trump. Impeaching Trump isn't going to change a thing for most of their careers.
It's a waste of time and money to ask him to resign. He's not someone anyone can control and there's so little time left in his term.
The best move here is for republicans to walk away from liberals like Trump and his supporters and move the party back to its conservative roots so it can get more qualified candidates for 2024 and beyond.

Anyways, this is offtopic.
I don't know what leverage over state means.
Neoconservatives have always followed big government spending programs. Reagan is an example of a neoconservative.
Trump, with a few exceptions, governed as a neocon which is why so many of his detractors in the republican party voted alongside him the majority of the time.
What/who/where is this mythical conservative politician you are talking about?
Congressman "Smith" can vote to impeach or vote against it. Congressman Smith is from a purple district. If Smith votes to impeach many MAGA people will abandon him at the polls. If Smith votes not to impeach many moderates won't vote for him as the Democrat opponent throws incendiary rhetoric like Smith is supporting treason.
Either way, Congressman Smith is darned if he does and darned if he doesn't. Pelosi has dozens of Republicans in a catch-22 for 2022 midterms. Then the Democrats achieve a blue wave in the midterms when traditionally the opposition party does better.
If Trump resigns now, Smith can read the tea leaves of his home district, can be more ambiguous, etc, but most importantly isn't put in the catch-22's claws.
