Overseeing the Capitol police and the protection of the Capitol are Pelosi's responsibilities. Either she did her job or she didn't.

So why is it that Republicans are blocking any bipartisan investigations of it? Senate Republicans Filibuster Jan. 6 Inquiry Bill, Blocking an Investigation

Hmmmm...?
Suddenly you don't trust the FBI or the Justice Department? Didn't you ridicule Trump for not trusting the higher ups in the FBI, even though Trump had very good reasons to not trust them?

If the other swing states audit their elections and reveal President Trump was the rightful winner, he will have to be reinstated.

Are you really ok with someone who was fraudulently elected holding office, just because he's your guy?

No ma'am. You are simply parroting right-wing memes that have been fact-checked until the cows come home. Are you intentionally doing this, or simply uninformed, I don't know.

Here's the list of persons who oversee the Capitol Police, straight from their website. Pelosi's name does not appear there. https://www.uscp.gov/the-department/oversight

Now will you finally stop parroting this lie?

Suddenly you do? Just stop with the nonsense already. The FBI is only one of the many players in the insurrection. We need a FULL investigation, not some cherry-picked Trumpist whitewash.

I trust the word of Former Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Defense over AFP. Ultimately, it was Pelosi's responsibility. Thanks anyway.

The only lie being parroted is that Pelosi is not at the top of the chain of command, over the Capitol, over the Capitol police and over the safety and security of that building and those in it.

There is sidestepping when it's said that Pelosi doesn't take care of "day-to-day operations". She likely doesn't take the time to make sure the Capitol cops have plenty of pens and paper in their storeroom. But, by making that claim, those who make it are intimating that protecting the building and those in it from a possible large safety and security breach is nothing but a "day-to-day operation", when it is not.

So you are saying Pelosi is better at investigating criminal activity than the FBI .. what hooey.

Your leftist media talking points are nothing but b.s.

Out of control protest/riot with crimes committed. But treason etc, nah.

This was no Seven Days In May insurrection.

For those that never saw this good movie actually

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Days_in_May

Even though a movie it shows more of the detail of what have to take place during an actual insurrection, coup etc.

Well, I'm going to take the word of EVERY SINGLE FACT CHECKING SITE, over that of internet trolls, thanks.

Congress needs to investigate this, not one particular agency.

You Trumpists are simply scared witless of what the investigation will show. Better buckle up, because it's going to be a rocky ride for you guys.

"Internet trolls" .. like Politifact? Why do you consider Politifact to be an "internet troll"? Because they are saying what you don't want to hear?

The claim that Politifact was fact checking was one that said 'Pelosi was "solely" responsible for the failure in keeping the Capitol safe'. Politifact stated that she IS responsible but she's not the "only" one who is responsible.

Quote:
The chain of command for Capitol security does include Pelosi, but it does not fall solely to her as this post claims. Others in the chain of command include the Senate majority leader and the Capitol police chief. We rate the claim Mostly False.
https://www.politifact.com/factcheck...responsibilit/

So, run along with your little leftist media false talking points.

So I was right, you don't trust the FBI and think those like Pelosi are better at investigating crimes. Well why not, she probably has a solid history of covering them up.

LOL! You're declaring victory on a fact-check that rates your claim as MOSTLY FALSE!?

Oh my, you can't make this stuff up! Comedy gold right there. Stop it, my sides are aching!!!
