During the financial meltdown in 2008, we saw social conservatives become conservative socialists as they begged for government handouts. Now we see those who were for less government interference demanding it. Its not about what's right, its only because Trump fiddles and his supporters dance while thousands die daily without an ounce of compassion from them from him.

You have it backwards as far as I can tell. Trump supporters do not trust government and want less of them. A big part of Trump's platform has been that nthe government (both Dems and repubs) are corrupt.

I don't think you know the real definition of socialism. However, many conservatives did oppose the bailouts although many in power did support it as did Obama.

So you support restaurants, hair salons, bars, etc. reopening? You support bakers refusing to bake cakes on idelogical grounds? Glad to see you embrace private property rights

The business community has decided doing business with racists and traitors is bad for their pocketbooks. I don’t blame them.

Are you talking about the 536 people who stormed the Capitol or the 75m people who voted for Trump?

We don't need to welcome these seditionists back into our communities. I would be THRILLED if the trespassers who were the leaders - and that includes the entire heaveho mob - were permanently denied the citizen rights to own a gun, vote, and fly. And placed permanently on a "seditionist" list that would bar them from gaining professional licenses, serving on a jury, etc.

And that's as American as it gets. To not tolerate those who would break into a building for the purpose of killing the vice president.

And if the US were a ship on the ocean, I'd throw them off for attempted mutiny.

And you can call me UnAmerican all you want for that, but I'm fully in the court of defending America from foreign and domestic terrorism.

(Note: I don't include those who came late to the riot, who may not have even known that the rioters had to attack cops to gain entrance, or those who were in fact welcomed by those cops at one entrance. They committed misdemeanors at the very most. I'm talking about the savages, the leaders, the ones who were pounding on doors and breaking through barriers with blood on their minds, and chanting hang Mike Pence and erecting a gallows for the purpose).

Have you shunned BLM and Antifa for their riots as well?

You are calling for societal division based on ideology.

Maybe Trump supporters should wear yelllow stars so you’ll know not to welcome us in your home, or speak to us on the street.
Yep. It’s super dangerous.

Anyone who didn’t conform to the dominant ideology was “shunned”, and eventually tortured and/or killed.

this is exactly what you are proposing to do.

of course there are other multiple examples throughout history, all more or less heinous.
