This isn't the first time politicians have taken something and turned it into "the worst thing ever!" to incite the public. It's how they get their policies in place that wouldn't otherwise pass muster. Like completely censoring the President and making an end run over the First Amendment by banning and silencing public discourse and taking away the voices of their political opponents.
I hope more people protest (not riot) at the Capitol, it should be a 24/7 thing no matter who's in there if they continue to be evil
