Trump has immediate access to a press corps. They travel with him everywhere...they are at Camp David NOW.

He has a press secretary who can issue a statement nay time of day anywhere.

He has a White House administration that has its own site for releasing statements from the President.
Clarification on censorship...
Dictator: NOUN
-a ruler with total power over a country, typically one who has obtained power by force. <- This fits the definition of what Trump was attempting to obtain
-a person who tells people what to do in an autocratic way or who determines behavior in a particular sphere.<-This also fits the definition of what Trump was telling people
The First Amendment protects against censorship imposed by law, but does not protect against corporate censorship...<-corporate censorship is not a dictator and they are doing the censoring...

Thankfully, the wannabe dictator doesn't own these private platforms, or he would do just that. It's bad enough that he incited an insurrection against his own country.

Is social media the only method of communication available to the president?

Was every president who served prior to the advent of the internet censored?

Does Trump not have an entire communications staff and a press room right there in the white house?

He could call any journalist, any network, and get on the air in minutes.

Heck, he has the emergency broadcast network, he can text every one of us!

That is exactly what is happening. The CEO's of the large social media and tech companies have been in league with the Dems since their inception and were looking for any excuse to shut Trumps voice down. Dems claiming to know the difference between right and wrong after all they've done is a joke.

There's a huge, gaping flaw in your theory. Social media CEOs don't need an excuse to shut Trump's accounts down. They could have even refused to allow him to have an account in the first place. Social media is privately owned; none of us have an inalienable right to a Twitter account.

I have a feeling the attempt to censor Trump will backfire. It simply adds to the Trump vs world narrative/allure. People want to hear what is supposedly too dangerous to hear. Trump has 75 million followers — his words will get out and spread...probably more being that they are now taboo/banned.

75 million people worked into FEAR by censorship is a HUGE voting block that will grow tired of their voices being sniffed out on the digital scene.
