And of course now the big lie from trump lackey Sean Hannity is that there were "hundreds of thousands" of people at his rant on the South Lawn (I hear the count was actually 20-30 thousand) but only a tiny percentage were involved in the attack on the Capitol. Hell, you could tell from the videos that there were thousands if you include the mob milling about in front of the Capitol. The lies just keep coming.

In fairness, on the Central Park situation, the kids were beating the crap out, robbing, and accosting men and women in the park at the same time the rape occurred. The did excessive time but they were low-lives and some of them continued being low-lives after they were released. the cops who coerced them were dirty but I'm not sure how much sympathy these guys ever really deserved. They were not only in the wrong place at the wrong time, but doing all the wrongs things and brutal criminal things at that.

I'm in no way they're poor little angels that the mean old city beat up on. I'm just saying that when cleared of THIS crime and this news became fact, Donny still held onto (and still holds onto) his inane and incorrect opinion. That's what he does. When shown to be wrong, proven to be mistaken, instead of being a MAN and owning his error he says "Well I don't know about that, people are saying...." like it's some sort of blanket from responsibility.
