You are correct in saying that nothing will/should surprise us going forward.
Trump was not ideal but he rose to power with a simple message of MAGA. There are 70 million+ citizens that recognized the danger that the Left poses to America.
Obama led to Trump and Trump has led us to Biden/Harris. The Left has done such a terrific job of destroying Trump over the last 4 years, no matter the cost to America that their voters would have elected a paper bag. They cut off their nose to spite their face.
You are also correct that this could be the beginning of the end of the American experiment. We used to have the media to rely on as a check against the schemes of our elected but now the media and worse the Social media like Twitter and Facebook are controlling the Leftist narrative and even cancelling and silencing opposing views. We have seen the "news" being censored and manipulated to the point that we have no idea who or what to trust anymore.
The Left has done more to divide this country like never before and the media is their propaganda arm.
How can a mob of people that attack, loot,destroy and burn their neighborhoods and inner cities with some even taking over several blocks in Seattle and declaring an autonomous zone be referred to by the media as brave people that are seeking social justice and change be celebrated while a concerned group of Right wing militia guys is called domestic terrorists?
In the Liberal mind the scales of skewed where 100+ violent riots are nothing compared to 1 uprising by enraged citizens? I say that BLM and the militia group has something in common, they are both angry at the Government and they want answer and justice.
