No.I despise Trump and all he stands for, and I am in no way condoning the abhorrent violence of the Capitol Hill rioters. The message in my post is that a large group of Americans have been left behind. The storming of the Capitol was just a deeper symptom of the despair and alienation of the "leftbehinders".

The sad part about this group is that there is no way for governments to address the deeper problem. This group of people simply got run over by "progress".

Projection and gaslighting is all the left are throwing down now.

It's really disgusting, and pathetic.

Oh, I wish I knew.

It's a lot to ask.

Long ways to go from blaming the "elitist" Democrats for your sorry employment prospects to understanding that you can't read very well and it's holding you back. It doesn't help that a lot of people believe that not being able to read well is the same as being dumb. Who wants to admit that?

Fiona Hill is double smart. Only need to listen to her for a couple minutes to realize this woman knows what she is talking about.

Some find that intimidating.

In my state and mostly in other states - there is a local elected School Board. This school board is made up of your peers, your neighbors, citizens of the community who you elected - if you vote at all.

The school board determines what is taught in school. The local school board is you - or your representatives. The local school board hires all teachers. What about teachers unions? Each town/city or district school board negotiates with the tearchers union and comes to a compromise or agreement on conditions of employment.

So who is to blame if children are not learning anything ? I'd bet that not one reading here has ever been to a local school board weekly/monthly meeting. Yet those posting here claim to be "experts" all about public education.

Fiona Hill was a big pusher of Trump-Russia collusion.

Was it a soft coup attempt by the Obama Administration to have multiple Obama Administration officials tell the media/nation that they had personally seen Trump-Russia collusion evidence to ramp up efforts to remove Trump and create hostility towards the president while simultaneously at the same time under oath behind closed doors saying that they had seen zero evidence of Trump Russia collusion?

Some of those same liars will be recycled into Biden's administration and the mainstream media will be okay with it.

P.S. This is not excusing Trump's behavior, just pointing out blatant double standards.

We still need laborers but we bring in immigrants for those jobs. Every society consists of a percentage of people suited to those jobs.

So there is not much to understand other than they have been screwed. And they are justified in being angry about it.
So few schools teach computer coding, computer technology classes like CAD and personal finance. The ones that do, usually barely touch on it.

Kids get social justice lessons every week, but most kids at my school only get a week of personal finance and nothing on anything like coding. At the end of their personal finance week they can't explain the difference between a bond and a stock.

Exactly, her credibility on this is non-existent. Hence the left love her.

It's a stream-of-consciousness of the usual MSM talking points wrapped around an ad hoc 5-point system for defining a coup.

I'm not quite sure what the author was trying to achieve. She seems unsure whether to put rhetorical emphasis on her 5 criteria (in blue) or the rambling commentary around it. Most of her premises are either fanciful or in conspiracy-theory territory:

POTUS declared election fraud on Nov 4 while votes were still being counted.
POTUS's request for the military to clear Lafayette Square for a photo op shows he was testing loyalty of the military.
POTUS discredited mainstream media and abused right-wing media/twitter to consolidate support.
POTUS stacked the supreme courts with his judges to control the judiciary.
POTUS purged disloyal cabinet members, such as Esper, to control the government institutions.
POTUS called GOP voters as 'his popular support'. His son called the GOP the 'Trump Republican Party'.

POTUS said several times he 'deserved' two or more terms because of the time wasted by the Russia hoax.
POTUS said in advance of election that it would be stolen.
POTUS refused to concede after election was declared for Biden.
POTUS disputed the election results through legal challenges, coercion of officials and VP to 'stop the steal'.

The irony here is that the abductive reasoning by which she concludes coup is the same type of reasoning by which electoral skeptics conclude fraud. Except with the latter, you have a much more extensive and quantitatively richer pool of evidence.

If you find her arguments convincing, it follows that you find the evidence of fraud even more compelling.

Sadly, you have been misinformed.

Behind closed door there was lots of evidence.

Have you checked out the Senate Intelligence Committee report?

Evidence of collusion to effect the election? Are you sure?
