So you're going with the 'fake news' shtick, huh?

Anything you don't like, just deny. Pretend it isn't true. Stick your head in the sand. Chant "Na, na, na, na, I can't hear you!".

You haven't learned a thing, have you?

I was laughing my rear off watching the establishment GOP trying to pretend that, sure, they were just fine - nay, enthusiastic - with Trump as candidate. And boy, was I punished for that.

More than likely Mitch sent the NYT an email himself with the story.

What does he gain by angering probably millions of voters who want the GOP to have no support for a sham impeachment?

F*** the GOP.

If McConnell does this, I'm done.

Third party 100%.

And you can bet your ass I won't be the only one.

Detaching Trump from the GOP now, rather than later? You should dump toxic assets as fast as possible.

This is very clear cut, a future without Trump the candidate works out better for the GOP writ large. In this extreme polarized landscape they can easily coop the MAGA movement, in some ways this plays out well for them, Pence was in line now he is removed, I think the Trump kids would play ball, its interesting.

Trump got 75 million votes. The most toxic thing the GOP could do is support this Dem political sham.

Or maybe McConnell just doesn't want his corporate campaign donors to cut him off?
