What do you think? To me, Trump has spent years fawning on Putin, absolving him of any wrong-doing, deflecting blame (as he did onto Ukraine), making deals to Putin's liking. So after all this, Putin is ungratefully shrugging off Trump? Did you think relations are "ruined"?
I think you've been watching too much fake news. Trump never fawned over Putin. He correctly stated that Putin was a much stronger leader than Obama. That's not "fawning", it's acknowledging reality.

In reality, the greedy Obama/Biden administration helped orchestrate a coup against the democratically elected government in Ukraine which directly resulted in the people of the Crimea holding a referendum to secede from Ukraine due to a lack of representation in Kiev. Then they held another referendum and overwhelmingly voted to join the Russian Federation. The Crimean peninsula has been key to Russia's naval power since the 18th century, so that was a huge win for Putin.

During the Obama/Biden administration, Russian backed militias also seized control of half the Donbass region of Ukraine and it's oil fields.

And let's not forget that the Clinton State Department allowed Russia to take control of 20% of America's uranium reserves, apparently in return for a hefty "donation" to the Clinton Foundation.

So that's what the US-Russia relationship was like under the Obama/Biden administration.

Under the Trump administration, Russia's invasion of Ukraine necessarily ground to a halt because Trump approved the sale of Barrett .50 caliber sniper rifles that can disable a Russian armored car from a half mile away with one shot.

Trump also approved the sale of Javelin missiles to Ukraine. Watch this video to see what one soldier armed with a Javelin missile can do to a Russian T-72 Main Battle Tank from a mile away.

So obviously from Putin's perspective, the one-sided lucrative relationship that he enjoyed under the corrupt pushover Obama/Biden administration was ruined the second America got a strong leader when Trump took office.

There was no evidence of that happening.

There also was no evidence of China doing so as well.
