Picture it, 11 AM on January 20th and Trump pardons Derek Chauvin as his last pen stroke. BLM and the terrorist left would fly into such a rage that the now democrat admin would be forced to not only acknowledge it but deal with the problem as well. The cities will further tear themselves apart.

They would be forced to direct action towards their own group instead of republicans.

Can he still pardon him for the sake of it?

^^^^ This - the question is completely moot. Trump does not have the authority to pardon him.

Just a dumb statement. Most Republicans would think this was a disgusting move, not sure why you think Trump would do such a thing.

Because I’d rather see them tear each other apart than us.

What will happen is Chauvin will stand trial at the state level. Then if he is not convicted he will then be arrested and charged by the DOJ for violating George Floyd's civil rights. I am not going to argue the case. I just know that would be what would happen. Now I do not know if he can pardon Chauvin for a crime that he is not currently charged with. Nothing on the federal level will occur until after the state trial ends.

The “If I can’t have it, than nobody can” as a person. Keep up your patriotism as you think up more ways to try and damage your country, buddy.

We independents are so often accused of being milquetoasts that don't want to make a stand. We know that is far from the truth. And it is comments like this that make me wonder if we are the only chance this country has.
