I read the Wikipedia article about this guy. He’s kinda had a sad life. He had success as a swimmer, but never really planned for a post-swimming career and has struggled. He was fired from several jobs post-swimming, and he admitted in some interviews that he was a terrible employee. His wife eventually divorced him, and he was not allowed visitation rights for his kids for 4 years (it doesn’t say whether physical abuse or drugs were involved, but it is unusual for a parent to be denied visitation rights). For almost a year after the divorce he was unemployed and homeless living in a car. His sister took him in, he started teaching swimming lessons, and in the last couple of years was working as a contract real estate broker in the Colorado Springs area. He apparently like to post a lot of Donald Trump stuff on his Social Media. It’s too bad. It sounds like he was maybe getting his life back together a little, now he’s thrown it all away for Trump.
No. I don't agree wit the people who damaged the Capitol, but the two things are completely unrelated. Assuming the allegations to tbe true for the sake of argument.
He pleaded guilty to a felony. He’s going to probably serve +/- two years. He is also cooperating with the DOJ on other cases.
He should be stripped of his medals if true. He's considered a traitor.
Well, as soon as they arrest and charge Vice President Harris and half of Hollywood for being part of a criminal conspiracy of bonding out BLM/Antifa rioters for rioting, looting, arson, assault and murder.
I know that we effectively have a two-tier justice system and this is where the issue lays.
Btw, how many people from the 01/06 incident have been convicted of any crime, even close to relating to insurrection or treason? The factual answer is ZERO… The government can charge you with ANYTHING, but to convict you, they need to present hard evidence and to date, it hasn’t happened…. Since there was no insurrection on 01/06, just a the unlawful act of Civil Disobedience.
It doesn't matter... that's their general approach to their enemies.
Meanwhile - people breaking laws at the border get free health care and schooling for the kids.
