Australia's Acting Prime Minister Michael McCormack has rebuked Twitter for banning the US President Donald Trump. Australia's Treasurer Josh Frydenberg also said that he was "uncomfortable" with Twitter's decision to ban Trump. Meanwhile, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has suggested enactment of clearer rules for deciding what content is acceptable on social media. Watch the video for more.

Other countries are watching us, they don't like censorship of our president.

Europe now Australia don't seem to fear or kowtow to big tech. Why is that. Lobbys? Is the US political community using big tech or is big tech using them?

It's likely because they're viewing this from a distance.

They're not afraid to go to their own downtown public buildings for fear of being killed by these crazies.

A bit of distance and safety from the MAGA bunch gives you a different perspective, and probably a little more attitude of forgiveness.

Zuckerberg has been called to Congress to answer questions a number of times.
Ever see it ?

I watched one. He sits there sipping his water and answers "I don't know". Doesn't even get a slap on the wrist. Then he goes back to his BAU.

He's rich, smug and arrogant and doesn't seem to care about society as a whole; just what HE can do.

The articles written about him are true; he's no philanthropist like Gates.

Uganda also banned social media for trying to interfere in their elections by closing accounts.

But the US is too "afraid" to do anything to reign them in.

Many of these countries are not as liberal on all issues as they are portrayed to be from our media. On some issues sure they are, but not all. When I started traveling internationally, I was surprised at some of the tings I learned.

And Twitter and Facebook are finding that out as they try to decide who can talk and who cannot in other countries.

primarily because the power brokers seeking to destabilize the US aren't working in those countries.

people keep looking at what they see and thinking its real. It isn't. something else is going on and we better get that thru our thick skulls.
