It was not an attempt to overthrow a legal, democratic election by force.

The George Floyd riots were plain-vanilla riots. The Trump-incited treasonous and seditionist insurrection was a riot intended to overthrow the government. Patriotic Americans understand the difference.

They weren't an "insurrection". They were terrorist attacks launched at the American people. With the encouragement, support and at times financing of the Democratic party.

True, but Trump supporter have repeatedly used the George Floyd and other Black-led riots as smoke screens to deflect from and justify the seditionist riot at the Capitol this week. They are equating them as a defense, much like they are throwing out the "but they were really Antifa, not MAGA" BS as an excuse. It's sick.

Is that why DC deployed 10,000 National Guardmen to DC last summer to protect White House and other sensitive locations from these terrorists....I mean peaceful protesters?
