Ivanka and Jared refused to let their Secret Service security detail use one of their 6 toilets. The agents had to run to the Obama or the Pence home until they finally found a neighbor of the Kushners who rented them a studio apartment for $3,000 a month, or well over $100,000 during the Trump term.
The cash Obama released were Iranian owned assets, held in American banks, withheld by the US after the hostage taking until they signed the nuclear deal.
It was never US taxpayer money.
Low class. When we have workers doing stuff in our home, we designate one bathroom for them to use. No big deal. We all have to go potty. If we didn't offer it, they would have to drive to the supermarket, which is 10 minutes away, so that would be half an hour of the work day gone.
It's the decent human thing to do, of course the Kushners don't seem to be in that class.
It's not just the waste. They didn't want the Secret Service to use their toilets. So the Secret Service had to rent a toilet in the basement of a neighbor. I remember when Trump was running in 2016, they said the Secret Service had to pay to use the elevators in Trump Tower to the tune of $70K for two months - when they were there to protect him.
Question: If you were in her shoes and you had 24 hour protection, would you want the security detailed to protect you using the toilet in your private home. Which toilet would you be willing to let them use? Picture it, it's mid-morning when the both of them just downed a couple coffees and a donut or two, the coffee gets 'em going but the donuts are what pounds it through. Yep, you guessed it, bowel movements, like clockwork. Agent Szathmary has the really rancid ones but Agent McCarthy has clogged to toilet before. But, you have no choice because the public will excoriate you for making them go elsewhere to poop.
So I ask you once more, which bathroom do you write off for the next 4 years??
I wouldn't want a bunch of people using mine, either. So what.
Oh dear God...are you trolling just to be obnoxious?
Secret Service agents aren't "a bunch of people." They usually are assigned for 3-5 years and get to know their "protectee" very well. They are willing to DIE for that person.
But you wouldn't want them taking a leak in your bathroom????????????
The OP is right...this is absolutely a real-life scene from "The Help".
Ivanka is an ass just like both her parents.

They were welcome to dismiss their security staff if their bladders were too inconvenient.
