We have to take personal responsibility at some point. When I partake of media, I don't immediately look to see which political party they align with, I just listen to the facts and tune out everything else.

Our National media is guilty of throwing gasoline on every fire. Stories with a racial angle are hyped, biased, and played to death. Stories that don't fit the agenda of the particular media owners are ignored.
If a criminal perpetrator is white, that often leads the story. If he/she is non-white, race is not mentioned.
Example: "The thief/rapist/killer/etc. is described as a man, six feet tall, with dark hair, wearing a black shirt and jeans. If you see this individual please contact the police."
If the race of a perp is not mentioned we have become conditioned to assume he/she is black.

There are exactly zero news media options that are not tainted bias.
One of the reasons I hang out on this forum is because I know I will encounter viewpoints I completely disagree with. If I have no clue what the opposing view is -- from somebody who actually believes it -- then I'm ripe for being brainwashed and propagandized.
It should be everyone's personal responsibility to seek out opposing views and have discussions, but that's the exact opposite of what's happening now. One side wants everyone they disagree with to sit down and shut up, and they hold all the levers of power to make that happen. That's extremely dangerous.
What do you consider responsible media, real journalists, and reporters?
The people on the ground, who are in the spot, asking questions, taping the answers, playing it back the words straight out of McConnelks mouth.
Watch Fox News Sunday and see how Chris Wallace questions his guests, from both parties. He asks thevquestion I want the answer to. And he doesnt just let them spin, he pins them down. That is good journalists.
I dont want the rambling opinions of news casters.
Read the newspaper for news. Dont go to the editorials.
Sometimes i listen to experts in the field, they know what they are talking about.
I consider PBS, the netwrks news like CBS and NBC as responsible media.
FOX News after 6 pm is garbage. Dont listen to it if you want to know what is happening.
Rush Limbaugh is hate garbage.

This is an excellent description of people who go to noteworthy events and just Livestream the whole thing on YouTube, then save the entire thing without editing.
The big corporate news media used to get out and report on stuff. Now, they rely on the footage obtained by those sorts of people.
The real journalists these days are just regular folks with a GoPro and a YouTube channel. Everything else is just mindless spin and propaganda. Fox News and CNN are both garbage at it, and Chris Wallace is just part of the ridiculous machine.
