Not the fact that he is squarely saying that his leadership role in the insurrection was in response to what Trump said?
I saw this interview this morning, and I think it is the most damning thing against Trump's defense yet. Here is one of the high-profile guys in the movement, who has been a consistent fixture all along the way, who is part of the DOCUMENTED effort to organize this seditious activity, and he's saying he did it because of what Trump said. He's one of Trump's biggest supporters, and he's saying it's because he believed what Trump told him.
Yet Trump supporters will continue with the "he didn't tell them precisely what to do, so he's innocent" BS.
Did you hear this guy's lawyer on Cuomo? The guy sounded....FAKE. He sounded completely like a fake, like an actor, like a staged fool.
Maybe he's kinda a Saul Goodman sorta type? Has a 2 star rating on Google, ha. Looks like he represented that couple that pulls out their guns in St. Louis.
He also screwed himself by linking his actions to the call of our president. He should know by now that Trump welches on all bills. Trump knows to avoid doing anything that traces responsibility back to him.
Arizona man in furry horned hat during Capitol riot wants pardon from President Trump
"So when my client asks for a pardon, to him this is deadly serious,"....
Chansley, also known as the QAnon Shaman," is facing six federal criminal charges, including civil disorder and entering a restricted building.
Watkins said he personally isn't holding his breath when it comes to a pardon for his client. However, he blames President Trump for the protest and subsequent riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6...."
Agreed about some of his tendencies do seem liberal: a lover of nature, routinely practices meditation, is an active practicer of yoga and eats only organic food.
Many people associate these things with liberals in the US, but there is a small, but definite New Age fringe in the Right-wing, especially in Europe and among American Right-wingers who are into occultism and pagan religion, especially the WS factions of the "Viking" related religions (what some Ásatrú adherents refer to dispagingly as "Nazitru".)
Obviously this New Age fringe does not overlap much with the dominant Right-wing contingent in the US which is firmly in the "God, Guns, and Freedom" sort of rednecky subculture that characterizes most of Trump's base.
Where they seem to overlap is their appetite for 'Q' conspiracies.
