That flag pole is what will really cost him. It's a spear, aka a deadly weapon. It will cost him many years
Certainly, if he used it in any way to attack somebody that is a legal problem for him. I suspect it is part of his religious get-up - he is apparently a shaman of some sort. Or thinks he is. I think shaman (shamen?)used to dance with spears but I am no expert.
The grand jury indictment charges Angeli with civil disorder, obstruction of an official proceeding, violent entry and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, and demonstrating in a Capitol building. It additionally charges him with one count of entering and remaining in a restricted building and another count of violent entry and disorderly conduct in a restricted building.
Angeli, who describes himself as a shamanistic warrior, had carried a spear and worn his attention-getting outfit during protests and marches in Phoenix since 2019. Sometimes, he was a one-man rally.
Prosecutors Just Walked Back a Pretty Serious Claim About the Capitol Rioters

Justice Department attorneys have walked back the claim that Capitol rioters planned to "capture and assassinate" lawmakers. The move follows acting US attorney Michael Sherwin's comments earlier in the day that "no direct evidence" establishes the presence of so-called "kill capture teams" during last week's riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Prosecutors in the case of Jacob Anthony Chansley, the man captured in viral images wearing a horned fur headdress and carrying a spear, have formally requested the court strike a line from a recent filing where prosecutors assert that "strong evidence" exists showing "the intent of the Capitol rioters was to capture and assassinate elected officials in the United States Government," CNN reported. Prosecutors have described Chansley as a regular drug user who suffers from mental illness.
At a press conference on Friday, acting US Attorney Michael Sherwin said, "We don’t have any direct evidence of kill capture teams."
The left can't seem to agree on a narrative as to what took place at the nation's Capitol last week. In order to impeach Trump, again, the left accused the president of inciting a crowd of his supporters who then went on to lay waste to Congress. Then, CNN reported that investigators uncovered evidence indicating the riot was planned in advance, so Trump's speech didn't incite the riot after all.
I don’t know....He defines himself as “freedom fighter”. He also said that prison doesn’t deter him; after all, famous freedom fighters were sent to jail - from Mahatma Gandhi to Nelson Mandela. He’s just a new generation of freedom fighters. For example he fights for not wearing a mask during the corona pandemic. Or for the right (granted by the constitution) to NOT be medically insured (like the oppressive Obama wanted). The right to eat only organic food (and maybe free marijuana) while in custody (like the founding fathers intended). Also for the right to break in national buildings like the capitol and ransack the place whenever he is in the mood. After all it’s “his” building.
In light of that, I’m not sure a Presidential pardon is needed at all. Freedom demands sacrifices.
Many people associate these things with liberals in the US, but there is a small, but definite New Age fringe in the Right-wing, especially in Europe and among American Right-wingers who are into occultism and pagan religion, especially the WS factions of the "Viking" related religions (what some Ásatrú adherents refer to dispagingly as "Nazitru".)
Obviously this New Age fringe does not overlap much with the dominant Right-wing contingent in the US which is firmly in the "God, Guns, and Freedom" sort of rednecky subculture that characterizes most of Trump's base.
Where they seem to overlap is their appetite for 'Q' conspiracies.
There has historically been only a small line dividing communism and anarchism in europe and the nordic, and russian countries, with extremes coming from the opposite directions, far right and far left, but landing in the same place.
Wow. Is this type of special diet available to everyone in prison? It's not such a big stretch to see how someone could see this and think "white privilege."
Yeah I think this is wrong. Unless it is dietary, prisoners shouldn't get to pick their diets. If they can prove food allergies or have religious objections, they should eat the food given to them or go hungry.

I think it's hilarious that the QAnon Shaman lives with his mommy and can only eat organic food.
That really had to hit Trumpers hard.
