amazing they called Ashanti a police officer in the beginning.
the truth will come out about Ashanti, because her sweet innocence and claims of what are disgusting levels of racism sound fake (though it's very possible they said it AFTER the punch).
here's one account - where she claims a LOT happened before the video.
the video does not support her claim that one of the men punched her. the old man pushed he after she threw the punch, and then 3 of them dragged her over to the cops. it was then the aunt came rushing over and punched her.
the above article says she was streaming live on IG. That means the video is out there.
She knew exactly what she was doing when she waded into this crowd. She was there to provoke and I’d be willing to bet the “N” was never uttered once while she was there.
One of the officers at the Capital gave interviews yesterday. He believed the mobs were going to kill him. He seriously considered using his firearm as defense and quickly came to the conclusion the mob would take his firearm and use it on him. Instead, he resorted to humanizing himself, husband, dad, kids, aged....
It served to compel a few brave guys to circle and protect him. And he is grateful to them.
Her family threw her out of the house because she came out as Lesbian. They didn't consider her to be family, and she returned the favor. Turnabout and all that.
Moral of the story: Don't **** off anyone who can identify you when you intend to become a domestic terrorist and attempt to overthrow the government.
she did not storm the capital and I believe she was somewhere else when it happened. the video shown where she gets punched in the face was not at the capital at that time.
Until it suddenly wasn't, directly following T****'s speech whipping them up. This was not a peaceful protest protected by the First Amendment. When the violence broke out, anyone sane would have turned and run the other way as fast as they could go. Those who stuck around and entered the Capitol knowing it was closed are guilty of breaking and entering at the minimum. It is now up to LE to investigate and discover their motives. Their intent will be what drives any indictments.
Being let in by LE who are violating the law doesn't make the B&E charge any less valid. That just puts them in cahoots with the LE lawbreakers.
you are 99% correct, not obviously that you care for me to agree with you. Those people were whipped up by speakers, including Trump, and ignored one of the last things he said - to "protest peacefully and patriotically."
As evidence comes out, it sounds like some had plans to get violent before Jan 6th. Regardless, anyone who clashed with police or entered the building committed a crime, of various levels.
What number would you put on that? 2,000? 5,000? And how many people were there that day, and so what would the % of lawbreakers be?
Most assuredly, 95%+ of those who were at organized protests this summer were acting completely legally, especially before 9 pm. And we're likely talking about the same percentage in DC. Different crimes, and different times will be served.

It was just brought before the House of Representatives, which serves as the court for a sitting president. He was found guilty of "Inciting to Insurrection" by a bipartisan majority and impeached.
They weren't laughing, BTW.
the House serves as the Grand Jury, in essence.
