Hmmm Sooo In the new world Democrat run order will we be seeing attractive people taken down a notch with maybe a punch to the face because isn't that what socialism is all about? One person can't be above another in anyway (except the elected elite) so instead of lifting up the not so attractive it makes more sense to take down the attractive.

The Progressive way. You can take a person to the spa and they will be beautiful for a day.

The Conservative way. You can teach a person to take care of themselves and they will be beautiful everyday.

Of course there is one image that pops to mind to debunk the OP's idea and that is the guy in the furs with the horns that stormed the Capital last week.. LOL

Before COVID when you could just walk around talking to people, conservatives would assume I was one of them. Left wing people would sort of "test the waters" before making comments.

On the other hand, the prettiest people in our country, Californians, and Hollywood, are liberal.

And it seems everyone, including Trump, noticed that his rioters weren't anything to look at.

So take this with a grain of salt.
That's debatable. Hollywood...the home of fake boobs, fake faces, fake personalities, fake outrage, and fake self-importance. Common day court jesters with lipstick on a pig. Yes, that can be quite entertaining.

So you deny this science study.

Do you deny science studies that say your political views are in part shaped by genetics?

https://www.discovermagazine.com/min...ed-by-genetics

Just curious if you also deny science that personality traits and IQ are in part genetic?

Depending on how much science you deny or accept, it actually makes sense that if political beliefs, personality, looks, and intelligence are all genetic to some degree - that there could be a connection in how you look at a camera with angles, smiles, etc connecting to your political beliefs.

In your denial of the scientific study, how do explain the high accuracy of predictions?

I believe there is some kind of genetic component too. Or just how our brains process information. Like a left brain/right brain thing.

I can't help but notice that my creative artistic friends lean left and my friends that are more pragmatic types who are mechanically inclined lean right.

Yes. Genetics plays a big role in our lives in many ways that the average person fails to comprehend.

I have the scientific intelligence and knowledge of a gnat, but IF the study says (based on the posts) that whether one is liberal vs. conservative has much to do with how physically attractive one is, that would make sense to me in the same way that wealth is a factor.

I think that it is fairly well established that liberals are dissatisfied with how thins are, both personally and in general, and want change, while conservatives are more content with themselves and society "as is". Perhaps the exception that would support this is that many (not all) very wealthy and/or very attractive people tend to be liberal because there might be some element of guilt involved with their good fortune, either in looks or wealth. Of course, this does not apply to wealthy heads of business or politicians, who think are probably the most greedy people on earth!

Isn't it funny they way you leftists agree with science... as long as it agrees with you.

Have you ever heard of statistics? That's what the people working with this software used to get the results they got. So you now suddenly decide that you can't take statistics and facial recognition technology seriously. I'm sorry that you are so homely, but it is not science's fault.

This is a funny post, as we can detect Trumpers a mile away, they always look so miserable, unkept and defiant (No Mask). Sometimes we argue about it and wait till they get back to their Beater or Truck that has a Trump Sticker. We are correct more often than not, but hey we do live in Florida, so it is an easy observation.

Yes we are being Stereotypical, and yes it is just an observation on our behalf, but funny nevertheless.
