The treatment started with telling the people their whiteness is something they are guilty of, then throwing them out of their businesses, jobs, churches, gyms, schools, places of worship, bars, resturants, followed by telling them to shut up about the election results.
Surprisingly there hasnt been more unrest, but I suspect its coming

Stop trying to say people who are condemning the current violence at Capitol Hill with the riots and insurrection are saying violence over the summer was okay. It wasn't, and the posters who are condemning what's going on now haven't said it's okay on any of this forum that I've seen.
Besides, thousands of the people who were doing the kind of damage that you're showing in your photo were arrested over the summer.

In the abstract I would have thought a group with mortars and automatic weapons might have fought their way in. And then overrun the building.
In this case it seems to have been folks 'armed' with wooden flag poles, fists, and that is about it who forced their way in...notwithstanding scores of fully armed police officers - some tactically attired. Actually, most of the trespassers/rioters seemed to have scooted in windows and then resigned themselves to goofie selfies in the lobby and hallways but that is besides the point.
On the one hand that disproves the 'armed takeover with an aim of assassinating all the legislators' tale being pumped out by the Dems (and their PR firm, the Media) for political purposes. On the other hand you have to wonder what is going on in the planning cells of the Capital Police Department.
They were so lucky there really weren't terrorists or insurrectionists coming in. Just a few rioters and a number of people on the equivalent of a fraternity panty raid.
The number of bullets that were shot off in the Capitol have nothing much to do with the threat level.
While I think so many troops is an over-reaction, it's only in part. Every security agency in the government has warned repeatedly of the high threat level they are discovering, so after the Capitol riot, officials are taking their worst estimates seriously.
