The politically contrived, lynch-mob style "impeachment" of President Trump recently conducted by the House of Representatives.. In order for an impeachment to be constitutional, it must follow the rules established by the House that are intended to safeguard the defendant's right to due process and equal protection under the law. That did not happen here, because - wait for it - 'there was not enough time'.
So the House rules for an impeachment were cast aside along with President Trump's constitutional right to due process and equal protection, because the witch hunt gang was in a hurry. Of course this is the standard sort of reasoning that one expects from a lynch mob, or perhaps a kangaroo court. But not under a process that is given validity and authority directly from the text of the US Constitution itself.
Whatever else that process was, it was an embarrassment to our nation and a deep stain on our system of justice. If it were allowed to stand, it would also be a disgrace to the credibility of our constitution.
I am hopeful that this travesty will be overturned by the Supreme Court. Sadly, I have so little confidence in our system of justice, including our Supreme Court, that I will not be holding my breath waiting for those people to actually do their jobs here. But that exercise was such a disgrace that I think there is at least some possibility that they might just do the right thing and overturn that second impeachment as a result of being unconstitutional.

Whatever Dems do is what Biden wants to do. We'll see if he's trying to unite the country within a couple days of his inauguration.
Not a chance. They are in the process of a good old fashioned fascist style purge. They appear to be moving to press that as hard as they can and as far as they can go.
This goes to the heart of who these people truly are.
That the House didn't follow the rules of impeachment as laid out in the laws.
But then again..who is going to contest that ?
President Trump at the very earliest stage of the process of any effort to conven a Senate trial. And even if no such trial is initiated in the Senate, the odds for which I would guess are about 5hover there is probably a good chance of President Trump appealing that legal travesty and sham of an impeachment process directly to the SCOTUS to have it overturned.
we have a winner.....and the democrats have seen to it that the word "impeached" means even less and less...than it already did

The whole impeachment thing is going to so extremely backfire in the democrats face-- come 2024. They are so stupid.
