Courtesy of Trump who could not make a deal with the Congress on immigration. He was about to when he listened to Fox news and reversed himself on DACA in 2017. The GOP blew it three times, when Bush was president and the conservative wing didn't like his proposal, the bipartisan deal out of the Senate that Ryan refused to let come to a vote and Trump.
The travel ban had nothing to do with the pandemic. It had to do with the overt, racist, creedist and xenophobic tendencies of the typical low-forehead Trumpist. Good riddance.
There's another caravan on their way from Honduras. Apparently, they've heard the news, and are heading to the U.S. for their freebies, courtesy of Joe. Fabulous.
What happened to that wall Mexico was supposed to pay for? Shouldn't that help you rest easy?
And we have millions of people who have been here for years, working, have families, etc. and who may be in the system but for whatever reason have been denied a path to citizenship. Those people should be given legal status.
Of course violent illegals should be sent packing -- nobody is advocating the criminals.
