I have friends in Canada and not once have they had to wait months for urgent procedures.
Universal healthcare works in every other first world country, they don't want it here because they want to keep making the healthcare industry(including pharma, and insurance companies) richer
It is so incredibly stupid to tie healthcare to employment, or to even have a system that bankrupts people for getting sick!
and you know what's funny, those country's seem to have healthier people because they aren't thinking about the cost to see a doctor...they are thinking about their health and well being.

This is what I think the problem is. The Republicans are eating themselves even before the democrats even have a chance to do the same thing to themselves. Yet Republicans ignore the fact that the Republicans aren't and haven't been on the same page for sometime.
Both parties are terrible at this point. One filled with racists that want the government to run our lives and the other filled with racists that want to restrict personal freedom.
You can always tell what really stings the conservatives, because they adopt (steal) it as their own. For instance, after four years of an authoritarian GOP POTUS, they are throwing around that word as if they actually understand it's meaning.
Nothing says "authoritarian" like refusing to concede an election and trying to violently overthrow the Democratic process, yet it is totally lost on these deep thinkers. Even after much of their own GOP leadership condemns it. Their own leaders and Trump's own staff can barely stomach it, are distancing themselves, but the wall of denial lives on.

I see Gerrymandering legislation back on the table. Last year The Supreme Court's ruling threw it back to Congress. If it passes minority voters will be empowered. It could mean more losing for Republicans. On the brighter side they won't have the luxury of only catering to seditionist. I'm sure the Democrats are keeping this on the down low. Redistricting could be checkmate.
