Basically if you want moderates to take you seriously...stop casting things to extremes. That makes you an extremist.

But “some blocks of Portland have more graffiti than usual” doesn’t generate enough clicks/outrage.

That's a breath-taking minimalization right there; and yet you dare accuse another poster of extremism!

Can you not see the problematic thinking there in your own words?

What? I’ve condemned the rioters that are violent and said they should be arrested. I feel sorry for businesses that have been impacted. I’ve been downtown, that’s about the extent of what you see in the day, some extra graffiti. I also don’t think that warrants shutting down all protesters or casting them all the same and violating their 1st amendment rights.

So when someone says “the city has been destroyed”, I’m sorry but that is flat out ridiculous.

So all those months of protests and the results is "more graffiti" ?
No business was impacted ?

They absolutely have been impacted. Especially with covid impact as well. But physical damage to the city? Yeah some extra graffiti, some boarded up windows and some relocated statues. That’s it. I’m not tossing the first amendment over that.

The city has not been “destroyed”. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows either. If you insist that it has, who is the extremist?

Yes, their actions need to be brought to light. They cheered after trying to burn alive a police officer. Did I say all Portlanders are guilty? I don’t think so.

The only mystery remaining, was why the people of Portland elected a "mayor" who took more than 100 days to figure that out, as the Antifa troops had returned night after night for three months, carrying out their attacks unresisted all that time. And why have they not voted him out even by now?

They are getting the government they deserve.

Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler was forced to finally admit that President Trump was right about Antifa after the organization has been tearing down Portland for months.

I think these people really thought they were tarnishing the Trump presidency by allowing the violence to go on and on. Now that there is no more Trump, they will suddenly shift tactics. I really despise the dems for the last year of death, destruction and hate.

Agreed, they do.

Yet you use that to refute my assertion that the city has not been destroyed.

A couple blocks everyone on the left ignored last year is a lot more than one building the left is obsessed with this year.
