Portland mayor admits Trump was RIGHT after Antifa destroyed his city
The only mystery remaining, was why the people of Portland elected a "mayor" who took more than 100 days to figure that out, as the Antifa troops had returned night after night for three months, carrying out their attacks unresisted all that time. And why have they not voted him out even by now?
They are getting the government they deserve.

Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler was forced to finally admit that President Trump was right about Antifa after the organization has been tearing down Portland for months.
People that have not been to Portland recently, if ever, are obsessed with it. Yes, the rioters that damage property should be arrested. But we’re talking about a tiny portion of the city. Literally a couple blocks in a sprawling city...have some graffiti and broken windows. But the city is apparently now a wasteland.

The point is the elected allowed if not encouraged the destruction and if it can happen there it can happen anywhere.
I wonder how many more times we will hear this phrase in the future "Trump was Right" ?
Trump was right about a lot of things but the Left was so filled with blind hatred for the guy that they couldn't help themselves.
How many people were hurt physically, emotionally and financially by allowing the misguided children to throw their tantrums? We might never know but if they had only clamped down on the rioters like they are the people that assaulted the Capital the "Summer of Love" would have been much nicer.

Yeah, right. Would this have been a group from the right, there would be outrage and breathless rage all over media. What finally got the mayor's attention was when an activist punched him. Then it became a serious "problem."
"Hundreds of rioters converged on the police department’s Central Precinct and the Multnomah County Justice Center and shattered windows with “softball sized rocks,” the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) said in a press release at the time.
The rioters ignored orders to disperse, and continued to return to the area to fire commercial-grade fireworks at officers.
The crowd burst into cheers after the firebomb nearly burned the officer alive."

See you will find sympathy in people by saying that some poor mom and pop shop caught in the crossfire keeps being smashed up by violent rioters/anarchists/boogaloo/whatever.
But when someone touts nonsense like “the city has been destroyed”, they sound like some extremist who can not be reasoned with. Real estate values continue to climb by leaps and bounds here, which is an objective measure of the desirability to live here in purely capitalistic terms. The city is still beautiful.

It is because electing a non-dems is a foreign concept to them.
