You really don't expect the poor to pay taxes, they make no money.
You don't expect the super wealthy to pay taxes either. Offshore accounts, specialized accountants etc. Someone fairly famous was recently discovered to have paid $750 in income taxes despite constantly bragging about how wealthy he is. Can't remember his name...
Last one mine was direct deposited this time they said they mailed it ( lame). I did some digging and found something from the IRS that said those mailed on the 6th will be received 3 or 4 weeks later. Right after Biden takes office. Coincidence??? Hmmmm

Good to know! Mine says it was mailed out on the 6th. It showed up on my informed delivery notice email from the USPS on the 15th; however it hasn’t been delivered to my mailbox yet.

It seems like everyone had it all mailed on the 6th despite the first on staggering mail based on income
I'm retired and I qualify for the check, but I didn't get one. I doubt I will as I'm not required to file a tax return any longer. Well as long as I don't start working a part-time job. Then I would have to file again.
