can you link us to the time Trump called the virus a hoax? See, this may be the same spreading "outright lies" you're so worked up about.
If you can, give us a link to "drink bleach" moment too.
His main adviser Mr. Hannity said it was a "new hoax" to bludgeon the President with. Whether he meant the virus itself or the medias treatment of it, the message was sent to his faithful viewers....it ain't serious. You know that's what lie was sold..I realize it would take some humility to admit it, but try.
The President blatantly admitted himself later that he downplayed the virus intentionally. He never said "the virus is a hoax".
Both people made bad decisions and people and the country were hurt.
A person who puts themselves into the political arena is a political target and should understand that aspect once they run for office. Dead kids and parents should not be political targets for lowlife losers from Texas. You should be smart enough to figure out the difference.
He didn't specifically say the words "covid is a hoax" he just insinuated it and mishandled it so egregiously that thousands of people lost their lives unecessarily.
Didn't listen to it all but it was the most Presidential thing he ever did. Sad he waited until the end. If he had given a speech like this early in regard to covid, minimal bragging and maximal leadership, things might have been better.
Instead he and his main adviser Sean Hannity decided to call it a hoax. that's why he lost the election.
"This" is their criticism of his handling of the virus.
You want him to have called the virus a hoax. And this is as close as you are going to get, so you will take it, and you are not going to let go.
Yeah, that's how you interpret it. Would have been nice if Trump and his media surrogates had clearly done the same, with certain members on his de facto media team calling a hoax that's not the message that was received by the faithful, unfortunately.

These Trump-lovers know this. He already lost so I don't get why they still carry water for the narcissist in chief. He doesn't give a rats behind about them or the people his lies hurt.
I've never felt any such affinity for a politician these people do..that's where the whole "Trump Cult" meme comes from...it appears to be reality for some people.
I would have never carried a flag for any politician I've ever voted for.
I can easily admit things like the fact that the administration lied about why Benghazzi happened. It had no impact on the incident itself, but they spun it as something it wasn't. I don't understand why it's so hard for the Trump cult to admit the guy lies like most people breath. Some of the lies are harmless, some are harmful. His lies about covid were harmful. Interview after interview he downplayed it and led like a used car salesman instead of a statesman.
He doesn't care, it's the only way he knows how to operate.
Trump lost and was a sore loser at that. No reason to listen as the liar is going out the door.
I understand he condemned the violence from last week. So all those supporter's are on their own dime for all the legal fees. They did answer his call.
