Wow, what's next, a loyalty pledge? Not a good look here for the 'crats, it looks like they want a military that is pledged to themselves, not the country or the Constitution.

This kind of thing has precedence in history, and it isn't good.

We're living in scary times right now in this country, the basic attacks on free speech are things I've never seen in my whole life growing up.

They already took a loyalty oath to the Constitution. Violation of that oath could result in a life sentence in Leavenworth or maybe even execution. It would be interesting to know what criterion they are using to target these people, but we will never know. Maybe a post somewhere saying there COULD have been some election fraud somewhere is enough???

Can you imagine how ape the media would have gone if Trump had wanted something like this?

Welcome to four years of disgusting double standards.

This is my pledge when I joined the military 16 years ago. The mayor can go pound sands

I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. I’m also very curious as to what they did to warrant removing them. So far we’re hearing that some had ties to right wing extremist groups and others made comments online that were considered inappropriate. I would really love to know more about what these groups are ad what those comments were. It seems very 1984 thought police.

Crats? This is Trump’s military. Obviously, Trump feels compelled to make certain there is no repeat of 1/6 on his watch.

FBI reportedly vetted all guardsmen assigned to the inauguration. 12 / 25,000 did not pass the smell test and FBI did a deeper dive. Looks like 2 were flagged for some sort of online engagement with militia type groups and were withdrawn from the inaugural assignment.

Something like what? This is Trump’s AG and military, until tomorrow.

FBI reports credible risks for the inauguration and at statehouse across the US.

Trump cannot afford an optic that he provoked violence.
